Gabriel Comin, Gabriel Cruz, Melissa Oliveira, Bianca de Castro - São Paulo Field Trip

Patteo do Colegio

We visited the Patteo do Colegio that was the first construction of São Paulo, Patteo do Colegio was opened on January 25th,1554.
It was a school of 12 Portuguese priests that were teaching the Indians the Catholic  religion. In front of Patteo do Colegio, there is a plaza that is full of beggars and is full of water. Sometimes some men go and get the beggars belongins and after sometime they give them back.
Inside Patteo do Colegio there are some chairs and there is a part that has some Indians belongings. In my opinion Patteo do Colegio is a place for peoplethat like the Brazilian history.

Tiago Tedaldi, Natália Carillo, Vinicius Becker e Bruno Alcantara - My Last Vacation

My last vacation
My vacation was amazing, funny and the best vacation ever.
The weather was cool, but sometimes it was very hot or very freezing.
I stayed at home and every day I went downstairs to play with my friends. We played volleyball, handball, soccer and other things. When it was cold we played videogames or watched movies.
      I didn't travel, but I wanted.
The best thing about my vacation was to see my friends every day and to stay with my Family.
      I loved my vacation.

My last vacation
My last vacation was awesome! I love it! I had two trips, the first one was for Rio Quente Resorts, that place is so cool! A lot of pools, waterslides and hot water. The weather was very hot however on the second part I went to a very cold place… Chile! I visited lot of places and I sow snow! A lot of snow! It was beautiful, and I think playing with snow was the best thing on my vacation.
When I came back to São Paulo, it was time to relax, sleep, eat rsrsrs, go out with friends, watch Netflix and buy some things. I won't ever forget my vacation!

                         MOSTEIRO DE SÃO BENTO

The Monastery of St. Benedict is located in Largo de São Bento, in the center of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It is one of the historical buildings of the city, being its architecture is inspired by the tradition GERMANIC ECLECTIC and its structure was created by the German architect Richard Berndl. The internal decor was in charge of the Benedictine Dutch monk D. Adelbert Gresnicht, who arrived in Brazil in 1913 specifically for this duty.

We had a field trip to Center of São paulo. We visited a lot of places but the one that I most liked was the Cathedral. It´s so beautiful! It stays in the Praça da Sé. It began in 1589 when the people decided to build a mother church for the small town Sao paulo de Piratininga. The old church was demolished and replaced by a new one, built in Baroque style, completed around 1764. Work began in 1913 on the site of the demolished colonial cathedral. The architect      in charge was the German Maximilian Emil Hehl, who designed a huge church in eclectic style.
